Donovan’s Dish is a professional catering company based in Apex, North Carolina. They specialize in wedding catering, corporate catering, and catering for special events. Since the beginning of pandemic, sales dropped drastically when in-person event bookings were cancelled for the rest of the year. When this happened, the business had no option but to focus on it’s prepared meal delivery service called Dish to Door. But Donovan’s had nowhere to turn for scaling their current advertising efforts in order to meet the bottom line and continue growth. They reached out to us to do just that AND more.

Solution

Poast understood right away the needs for Dish to Door. We then created an Ecommerce marketing strategy to build new audience segments using location and interest targeting, compelling creative, specific ad type and placement, as well as retargeting with offer incentives. Poast also consulted with MRC and Donovan’s Dish to separate their catering from meal delivery where the online presence was intermingled. This allowed brand clarity, better user experience, and the ability to focus on Ecommerce sales for Dish to Door.

Results

Within 4 months, we grew the Dish to Door Ecommerce conversion rate from 3% to over 8%. This effort also helped generate over $500,000 in meal delivery sales, with $130,000 and 300+ new customers coming from Facebook and Instagram advertising. Donovan’s Dish was very impressed with these results and knew they could rely on us to deliver.
